SA-TECH welcomes Wayne Wilson, our new VP of Business Development

Largo, MD, January 14, 2008 - Mr. Wilson has joined the corporation as Vice President, Business Development. He previously spent two years at ARINC, in Annapolis, MD, as Director of Marketing for the Advanced Aviation and Maritime Engineering Sector.

Prior to ARINC, Mr. Wilson worked in a variety of positions at Westinghouse/Northrop Grumman commencing in 1987. Starting as a Senior Engineer, he subsequently managed the Operational Requirements Branch, served as Program Manager on various classified efforts, and in 1994, became Director of the ASW Support Facility in Chesapeake, Va., for the SQQ-89 Sonar System. He then became the Field Marketing Manager a t Patuxent River, Md., responsible for all Naval Aviation related RDT&E and acquisition programs at the Naval Air Systems Command. Following four years in that capacity, he became Director, U.S. Navy Business, with overall responsibility for marketing and business development activities related to naval aviation, surface, undersea and space programs. In 2004, Mr. Wilson became the Northrop Grumman onsite Director at the Fighter Demonstration Center in Crystal City, Va., responsible for the F-22 and F-35 Programs.

Prior to joining industry, Mr. Wilson served in the U.S. Navy as a carrier pilot, flying F-4 and F-14 aircraft, and as a staff officer, where his key billets included the Program Planning Division, CINCLANT and Congressional Liaison. He completed his military career as a Senior Analyst at the Center for Naval Analyses.

Mr. Wilson received a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master’s degree in Operations Research from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School.
