Operations & Maintenence Services
SA-TECH's operations & maintenance (O&M) services include range O&M; COTS-based simulated IED construction; communications systems; vehicle maintenance; target construction and maintenance; counter-IED facility operation, maintenance, and T&E support; radar operation; remote power; construction services; scenario development; unexploded ordnance handling; and meteorological services.
The following are examples of our contract experience in the area of range O&M services:
Program: Pacific Range Support Services (PRSS)
Customer: Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD)
SA-TECH was awarded a major contract from the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) to provide a broad range of support to the Navy's North Range, South Range Superior Valley, and Sea Range weapons testing operations.
Summary of Activities:
  • Technical support to engineering, operations, and/or maintenance efforts, including implementation of test plans and procedures
  • Systems/software engineering support, including requirements definition and development of system performance specifications
  • Development of a COTS-based simulated IED compatible with Enhanced Range Control Software (ERCS)
  • Support of Range instrumentation systems such as telemetry, data collection and analysis, command and control, and geophysical
  • Operational analysis and requirements development for threat and operational environments
  • Planning/evaluation of Range operations; and development and analysis of computer assisted modeling and simulation
  • Engineering investigations and special engineering studies and analysis in support of Range instrumentation
  • Design, development, manufacturing, fabrication, and test and evaluation (T&E) of Range systems and subsystems
  • O&M on weapons test sites and equipment used in NAWCWD's T&E mission
  • Real-time and post-test data reduction, incl test control, telemetry, and TSPI
  • Quality control of meteorological test data, incl dissemination and archiving of data
  • Support of technical documentation and technical/engineering meetings
  • Design, development, implementation, and maintenance of CM Program
Program: Target Operations and Maintenance
Customer: Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD)
SA-TECH provides operations and Maintenance (O&M) and depot-level repair for aerial and seaborne targets in support of the Navy’s Pacific Range fleet training exercises. Support services are provided at Point Mugu, Port Hueneme, and San Nicholas Island, CA.

Program: Weapons Survivability Lab (WSL)
Customer: Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD)
SA-TECH supports research, development, test, and evaluation programs under the cognizance of the Weapons Survivability Laboratory (WSL) in the Survivability Division of the Systems Engineering Department at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA.

  • Operate, maintain, and provide T&E support for the Joint Counter IED Interoperability Facility (JCIF). Program: Yakima MPRC/MPTR O&M Services
Customer: US Army, Fort Lewis
SA-TECH provides a wide variety of operations and maintenance support services to the Multi-Purpose Range Complex (MPRC) and the Multi-Purpose Training Range (MPTR) in support of U.S. Army Live Fire training, Convoy counter-IED training and special test events.
