Weapons Survivability Laboratory (WSL)

Customer: Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD)

SA-TECH, as a subcontractor to Altus Technology Solutions, is currently supporting the U.S. Navy’s Survivability Division of the Systems Engineering Department, which uses the WSL to test the survivability of U.S. aircraft and missiles against foreign threats, and the lethality of U.S. weapons against foreign aircraft and missiles. We perform Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) activities supporting Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E) programs on a broad scope of military aircraft and weapons systems. Our tasks include operations and maintenance (O&M), complex fabrication, logistical, and technical engineering support for mission events, providing vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, training, management, and supervision to simultaneously support O&M mission facilities at five (5) separate remote sites at China Lake, CA.
SA-TECH was the prime on this contract from 2004 to 2009 and a member of the ALT-TECH Joint Venture that held the contract from 2015 to June 2020.
